He picked up the phone. "Hello, who is this?"
"This is Laura. What did you tell Rebecca?"
"Oh, did she find you?"
"No, I found her, but she didn't see me. She was looking for me though. What did you tell her to make her join the GCA?"
"What?"
"I saw her talking to someone else about leaving the HIA and joining the GCA. What's going on? Why can't you stop them from letting me do my mission?"
"I tried my best. I was going to give them a mission that seemed to be connected to your mission from their perspective, but Rebecca left before I could give it to her. I hope that you'll forgive me."
"But what did you tell her?"
"I told her about the tracking devices in your shoulders. It was how I tracked you down. I promise you that I only use them in the state of emergencies."
"Yeah, I figured out about the tracking devices. Rebecca-" Laura stopped, piecing the information together. "I've got to go, it's important. Bye!"

“And…we have now officially landed in Ban!” Caitlin announced as the jet landed.
“You’re too excited,” Xarissa said grumpily.
“I have a right to be optimistic,” Caitlin pouted, unbuckling herself. She walked to the back of the jet and opened the door. A draft of cold wind wafted through the entrance, and she inhaled deeply. “Mm, do you feel that? I love fresh air.” She stepped out--smiling--onto the open grass. Xarissa looked at Sarah skeptically, and Sarah just shrugged. The two of them followed Caitlin out onto the grass. “I can see the city from here!” Caitlin exclaimed. “We’re close!” She ran back to the jet and turned it into a car. As she hopped in, the others stood in silence. “Hey, you coming or what?”

“I guess you don’t need to be shown around,” Conner said with a grin.
“Nope,” Rebecca replied. “I used to work here, remember?”
“Not for long. Things have changed.”
Rebecca looked at him. “But not much.”
“No,” Conner agreed. “Come on, I’ll show you where you can stay.”

Laura had done it. She was inside the building that the others were in, now she just had to find them. Laura took out one of her gadgets and read its intelligence. She found the prisoners: they were on the third floor in the center. The building was surprisingly empty of guards and cameras.
She couldn't think about that. She needed to find the others.

Jace couldn't believe it. It wasn't possible. Niko never misses, yet here she was, alive and well, looking for something. She was doing a good job evading the cameras: he had barely caught a glimpse of her before she disappeared. It may have been his eyes playing tricks on him. He just needed a nap....No. He had to check this out. All of the other guards were out looking for the agent. They won't be back until night. He could easily stalk Laura, if she was there. Jace got out of his chair and went to the second floor.
