Armaan had almost reached the building when he saw a woman running towards the plane. She was most definitely an agent of the SIASS. Armaan knew that she mustn’t sabotage the plane, so he took out his handgun and shot her in the leg. She fell to the ground in pain, and her immovability proved that this had been her first time having been shot. Armaan went to her, gagged her, and carried her to the plane. He was tending to her wounds when the others showed up with the two unconscious agents.
"Who's that?" Rebecca asked.
"She's--I think that she was trying to sabotage the plane. We might as well bring her along for questioning." Armaan replied. Rebecca thought over it, then nodded in agreement.
"Knock her out. She can't know where we're going." Rebecca commanded.

Kalyia couldn't believe that she had been captured. It was insane. Her leg also hurt terribly. The burning: she knew that she was going to die a slow, painful death. Then, the boy that had shot her picked her up and carried her to the plane. He had gagged her, of course, but she still couldn't believe the kindness and merciful nature of the agents. Then the agent had also tended to her wound, which was unbelievable. She overheard them talking about questioning her, and then knocking her out, and then her world went dark.
Kalyia woke up in a perfectly white room. It was blinding.
"I must be in heaven." She whispered.
"No. You're still alive. Are you well enough for questioning?" a strange girl her age asked. Kalyia felt her arms, then her leg. It was surprisingly better.
"How is my leg--" she began to ask, when she was cut off,
"Our medical technology is rather advanced. Are you ready to be questioned?"
Kalyia thought, then asked, "What is it that you want to know? And if I tell you, will you protect me?"
"Yes, we will protect you. We just want to know what you know."
"If you won't hurt me, and if you'll protect me, I'll tell you everything."
"I'm ready." The girl said, taking out a pen and clipboard. Kalyia began to explain everything.

"Are you serious? She just willingly told you all of that information?" Rebecca asked Agent Whetten.
"Yes, she was actually very scared of the program that she was in. I don't blame her, the poor thing."
"So what did she tell you?" Laura asked eagerly, feeling a lot better. "You sure that she doesn't have a tracking device on her?"
Rebecca answered her, saying, "We did an X-Ray and cautionary, procedural DEMP on her body. Everything electronic would be sizzled, not to mention, we didn't see anything even slightly metallic on her."
"So what did she say?" Laura asked Geneal.
Geneal took a deep breath and told them that they'd have to find out at the meeting at 4:00.

Armaan couldn’t believe that after all this they were going to send him back to the GCA. Hadn’t he proven himself enough already?

“How are you doing?” Rebecca asked Jace as she walked into the math room.
“The gas was fun. A great additive to my wonderful day,” Jace answered. He was grateful to the others for saving him, but he knew he wouldn’t ever let Rebecca know that.
Rebecca smiled. “I’m glad.” She was kind of upset that he didn’t say thank you, but she wouldn’t ever let him see that. Jace looked at the wall. He just wanted her to leave the room. But he wouldn’t be so lucky. “You didn’t tell them anything, right?”
“You don’t trust me?” he asked in surprise, looking back at her. It didn’t matter to him. He didn’t really care.
Rebecca thought she could trust him, but she wouldn’t give him the upper hand. “No. You haven’t done anything to make me trust you,” she answered.
“Well…I don’t trust you either,” Jace said back.
“Fine with me.”
“Fine.” This time Jace was the one to get up and walk out the door, but he didn’t completely leave. He hid behind the fake wall.
Rebecca sighed and rubbed her eyes. “This is so stupid,” she said. Jace heard her stand and hurried away before she could find him there listening to her.

"So you all know why we're here. Agent G. Whetten needs to report to us the information relayed to her by the prisoner. Agent Whetten?"
Geneal cleared her throat and took out an inch thick folder apparently filled with what the girl had known.
"This is what she has given me. She was unnaturally willing to give us this information, so I decided to do some lie testing while she was giving me the information. She has been telling us the truth." Geneal shuddered. "This could be an important key to ridding the world of those tyrants."
"Well then, by all means…tell us." Laura replied. Geneal opened the folder and began to list out the locations of their bases.

Kalyia didn't know what made her tell them everything that she knew, and she meant everything. What made her spill out everything that she had been told about the SIASS? She even gave them the information that the Man had told her. She had no idea what went over her head. Fear? Kalyia remained confused in her room for the rest of the day.
